My Commitment to You

At Specialty Outdoors, I will perform the requested repair, modification, alteration, or custom work to the best of my ability. I will use appropriate materials and techniques, and I will maintain good communication with my client. My goal is twofold: you will receive a professional-looking product that performs and fits the way you want it to, and you will receive excellent, personalized service.

Quotes and Estimates

All prices, estimates and quotes are good for 30 days. All quotes are for labor only unless I specifically quote on materials. For items that I have not seen, I quote within a range because there are many factors in pricing out alterations, modifications, and repairs. Once I inspect your item, I will give you a firm price and wait for your confirmation. Due to the complicated nature of a few types of projects, some will be quoted within a range, price to be determined upon completion.


Timing and Turnaround

I work on a first-in, first-out basis. I do not do rush work; however, if you have a special need, we can discuss timing. If possible I will accommodate you, but I cannot guarantee it. If you need your items back by a certain date, just let me know. The workload here is seasonal. Turnaround typically varies from 3 to 4 weeks, not counting shipping. Large projects requiring major modifications must allow at least 6 to 8 weeks. During the busy repair season (October through March), I may not take on any large projects at all; please feel free to inquire.


Communication

I use email or phone to communicate with clients. I prefer email, but if this is not convenient for you, please let me know.


Shipping and Insurance

Please contact me for shipping information. This way I can schedule your work properly.

You may ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. If you live near Spokane, contact me for local drop off information. Please contact me if you have special concerns.

It is your responsibility to insure your gear when shipping it. I am not responsible for items sent to me without proper insurance. Your gear will be insured for replacement value when it is shipped back to you.


Payment

I accept credit cards, personal checks, and money orders. Credit card payments must be made through PayPal, Square or over the phone. Payment must be received in full before I return your item to you. All customers will be invoiced via PayPal if I have your email address.


Delivery

Your gear will be returned only after your payment is received. This policy may be flexible for customers with whom I have an established relationship.


Unclaimed Items

Items need to be paid for and claimed within 60 days of completion. Past 60 days, I am no longer responsible for your gear.
